Care for a Creature Programme.

You and your family can take a special interest in a group of ‘creatures’ at Southern Encounter Aquarium & Kiwi House by becoming an adoptive parent through Southern Encounter’s “Care for a Creature Programme”.

Adoption funds go towards the cost of food, husbandry, capture and release and maintenance of the selected creatures’ enclosure.

Choose your favourite creature from the list. You will not only be sponsoring your favourite creature but also supporting the valuable conservation work of Orana Wildlife Trust.

We encourage you to adopt a group of creatures rather than an individual because our creatures are occasionally transferred between public aquariums, are released periodically and from time to time they pass away.

Adoptions other than Diamond are not exclusive so any creature/creatures may have a number of adoptive parents.

-----------------------------------

Levels of Adoption (Per Annum)

  • Bronze $100.00
  • Silver $200.00
  • Gold $300.00
  • Platinum $500.00
  • Diamond $1,000.00

Gold, Platinum & Diamond prospective adopters should telephone Southern Encounter to discuss any additional benefits which may apply. These can include a plaque at the creature enclosure and some complimentary passes, depending on the adoption level selected.

Diamond Sponsors:
Please telephone the Sponsorship Co-ordinator on: (03) 359 0581 to discuss the exclusive sponsorship of an individual creature and any additional benefits.

Businesses & Organisations
If you would like to become a creature sponsor please telephone the Sponsorship Co-ordinator at Southern Encounter so that we can tailor a package to reflect your image and goals.
