Care for a Creature Programme.
You
and your family can take a special interest in a group of ‘creatures’
at Southern Encounter Aquarium & Kiwi House by becoming
an adoptive parent through Southern Encounter’s “Care
for a Creature Programme”.
Adoption
funds go towards the cost of food, husbandry, capture and release
and maintenance of the selected creatures’ enclosure.
Choose
your favourite creature from the list. You will not only be
sponsoring your favourite creature but also supporting the valuable
conservation work of Orana Wildlife Trust.
We
encourage you to adopt a group of creatures rather than an individual
because our creatures are occasionally transferred between public
aquariums, are released periodically and from time to time they
pass away.
Adoptions
other than Diamond are not exclusive so any creature/creatures
may have a number of adoptive parents.
